A 44-year-old man has been brought back to Jersey by police to be charged in connection with an historical sexual assault.
Police managed to locate Jersey-born Andrew Hannam, who had been in London, and return him to the island.
It follows an ongoing investigation into the assault on a female, which happened in St Helier in 1995.
He was today arrested and charged with 1 count of Gross Indecency, 1 count of Attempted rape and 4 counts of Indecent Assault on a female.
He is due to appear before Magistrates late today.
